Mindfulness is a critical component to anyone’s toolbox of coping skills. It is a core component of dialectical behavioral therapy or DBT. I will teach you breathing techniques and meditations during our therapy sessions to help your mental health. Being mindful means not thinking about the past or the future, but only of the present moment you are in. Mindfulness techniques are extremely effective at reducing stress, anxiety, and depression.
